hillside_view.jpg Built in the 1920s, this two-up two-down semi-detached cottage nestles into a south-facing hillside in Dartmoor National Park.

The solid walls are constructed from stone-effect concrete blocks approximately 200mm thick and bonded together with a cement mortar. Ground moisture is high.

Following priliminary site appraisal we have speculated on the causes of damp and thermal performance problems and have propose suitable solutions.
